All Bergwerk items are one of a kind and are made in Brooklyn, NY unless otherwise stated.  If you have any questions that are not addressed below, please email us.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All Bergwerk pieces should be hand washed in cold water with a delicate detergent. Line dry. Or if you prefer dry cleaned.

SIZE GUIDE
Since each piece is unique and hand-sewn from pre-existing materials, they can fit a variety of body types. Generally the sizes range from size 0-8 USA and specific measurements are listed with each piece in the SHOP page.

RETURN POLICY

Bergwerk is happy to accept returns for pieces that do not fit properly or with which you are unsatisfied. Please let us know within 10 days of receiving your order. In order to initiate a return, please email hello@bergwerkbk.com and please attach digital photographs of the piece and a description of why you would like a refund. 

If we made a mistake by sending you the wrong item we will offer you an exchange with free shipping, or a full refund if the item is no longer available. However, we must receive the return before we can offer you any exchange or refund. 

Bergwerk will not accept returns on pieces that have been washed, worn, altered, soiled, stained or damaged in any way. Original tags must be in place. We cannot take responsibility for packages that get lost or damaged in the mail.  (Please note that when trying on your piece after receiving it, do not expose it to pet hair, strong perfumes or any other damaging items.)

Returns are accepted after arriving at Bergwerk with no damage caused after it left Bergwerk shop at checkout on date of your initial order. Returns received after 10 days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. All returns are subject to a $10 return shipping and handling fee at Bergwerk's discretion. This amount will be deducted from your credit or refund. 

 

REPAIR POLICY

Bergwerk is happy to provide repairs free of charge on pieces that have experienced normal wear and tear (since you love wearing your piece so much!). 

In order to initiate a repair, please email hellobk@bergwerk.com and attach digital photographs of the piece and details of the repair area, along with a description of why you would like a repair. 

 

SHIPPING INFO

All shipments are sent via USPS to the address provided at checkout. You will receive a tracking number... 

 

GIFTS

We are happy to surprise someone with an original Bergwerk piece. Simply email us after your purchase and we will be happy to include gift packaging and a note for no extra charge. The same return and repair policies apply to gifts. 

 

PAYMENTS

Bergwerk accepts all major credit cards.

Credit cards are securely processed through Squarespace Stripe. You may see Bergwerk or Gertrude Berg on your credit card statement.
